Entering Offcut Dimensions

If an offcut item has FIFO turned on, users are prompted to enter the dimensions when completing the job card. When making rolled stock from offcuts, users are prompted to select the serial number if the offcut item has FIFO turned on.

To enter offcut dimensions on a job card:

  1. Open the Job Card Completion screen for the job card to be completed.

  1. Select either the All button or the Prime button and select the coil you want to allocate from.

Refer to "Allocating from Coil Stock - All" or "Allocating from Coil Stock - Prime".

Micronet displays either the All From Coil screen or the Prime From Coil screen, depending on the option you selected.

  1. Change the Total Lineal Metres to an amount that is greater than the quantity ordered then enter or select a serialised Offcut Item.

Micronet calculates the square metres of offcut and displays the Offcut Units screen.

  1. Select the Add button.

Micronet displays the Edit Offcut Units screen.

  1. Complete the following fields:

Enter the number of offcut items.

 

Length (m)

Enter the length of the offcut item(s) in metres.

 

Width (m)

Enter the width of the offcut item(s) in millimetres.

  1. Select the Accept button.

Micronet redisplays the Edit Offcut Units screen so you can enter further offcuts if required.

  1. Select the Cancel button.

Micronet redisplays the Offcut Units screen, adds the entry and updates the Entered Quantity.

  1. Select the Ok button.

Micronet redisplays the All From Coil screen or the Prime From Coil screen.

  1. Mark the coil as completed if required.

  1. Select the Ok button.

Micronet redisplays the Job Card Completion screen showing the new prime and offcut records.

  1. Optionally, you can allocate by-products of the job to Excess, Seconds, Off-cuts or Waste.

  1. If required, you can maintain the job material lines.

  1. When you have finished allocating materials, you can complete the job card.
